Explore is Asha Chennai's initiative to connect with more schools and extend our reach. While we cannot provide the full support offered under our Primary and Middle School programmes to all schools, we engage these schools by giving them access to Asha's scalable initiatives and guiding them in using them effectively. This includes the Asha Kanini platform, which supports teaching across all subjects, and access to our Computer Science curriculum.

Today, the Explore programme reaches over 300 schools across four districts in Tamil Nadu. Students participate in five engaging one-hour Computer Science activities that introduce them to different areas of Computer Science. Originally focused on programming, the programme has since expanded to include Digital Literacy, with activities carefully chosen to teach key Computer Science concepts in an engaging and enjoyable way.

Through the Explore programme, students are introduced to the fundamentals of using computers through engaging, activity-based Digital Literacy lessons.
